Schools choose how many eligible pupils take part. Entries are ordered in increments of ten, with no fixed team size.

Start with the pupils you want to enter.
For United Kingdom entries: 10 pupils cost £25, 20 pupils cost £40, and 30 pupils cost £55. For 40 pupils, the cost is £70.

Order twenty entries.
The order system works in increments of ten. Round up to cover the pupils taking that Challenge in the chosen format.
In the UK, for example, 11 pupils need 20 entries at £40, leaving nine entries available. Your school does not have to fill every purchased entry.
Individual means individual
Ten is a purchasing quantity, not a team size. Schools may enter any number of eligible pupils.
The standard estimate is calculated for one Challenge and one participation format. Separate order lines are priced separately in checkout.

An individual pupil place in the selected Challenge, using the chosen supported online or school-printed paper format.
School preparation
The current instructions and authorised materials for the entered sitting, accessed through the school workspace.
A private result
The pupil’s result after release, with available documents and recognition under the current rules.
Schools print paper materials where that format is used. Practice and past-paper listings explain their own availability and contents.
Payment and invoicing
Fit the order into your school’s process.
The Organiser checkout offers card payment and an invoice route for school finance. Review your Challenge, format and entry quantity before submitting the order.

Before your school orders
Can fewer than ten pupils take part?
Yes. The school purchases the first ten entries and can use fewer. Each participating pupil still takes the Challenge individually.
Can we mix online and paper?
Check the available formats for the Challenge in your school’s checkout. Standard online and paper quantities are separate order lines; use the checkout total for the actual combination.
What about changing or cancelling an entry?
Consult the current Terms and the relevant entry deadline before materials or credentials are issued. Contact BMSAQ about the school’s particular order.
