Ben Mooney is the founder of BM Schools Academic Quiz (BMSAQ) and has been leading the Brain Master Quizzing Organisation since its inception. With a strong background in organising educational competitions, he served as co-organiser of the Schools Challenge 2022/23, helping to bring quizzing into schools in an engaging way. While his expertise initially focused on space and IT-related questions, his interests have grown to encompass a wide range of competition topics.

Ben is passionate about promoting the importance of education through a fun, interactive, and engaging approach that inspires students to keep learning beyond the classroom. His mission is to make learning an enjoyable and lifelong pursuit for people.

John-Paul McGreevy is the Lead Question Verifier of all BM Schools Academic Quiz (BMSAQ) questions. With years of experience in academic competitions, John-Paul ensures that every question we present is accurate, challenging, and engaging. His sharp eye for detail and vast knowledge across various subjects mean that nothing slips through the cracks. Whether it’s a tricky science question or a nuanced historical event, John-Paul meticulously reviews each quiz set to ensure fairness and quality. His dedication to precision and passion for learning make him an invaluable part of our team, elevating the BMSAQ experience for every participant.

John-Paul is especially passionate about world economics and history questions. 

Once the questions have been verified, they go out to a classified wider panel of judges from all over the UK for scoring, ambiguity monitoring and time checks. Our experts are all quizzing enthusiasts, happy to tackle any challenge. Who knows one might just be your teacher?
